OFFICIAL FITBLR DIRECTORY

dear everyone,

we’ve been getting quite a few messages from angry fitblrs asking why they weren’t added, or why it’s taking so long. there are currently 197 messages in the inbox, and it takes a while to go through each blog, see if it fits the criteria, hyperlink it into the correct tab, and message the person back to tell that they have been added. 

if you haven’t received a message back, it means we haven’t gotten to you yet! if you are added, you’ll get a message. if you’re not added, you’ll get a message stating why. 

I’m currently still answering questions from way back in July, because we answer them from bottom, up. please be patient, we’re working as fast as we can! we’ve answered around 100 messages since this time last week.

if you’re still concerned about something, you can politely message us again with your height, gender & concerns, and we’ll check it out :)

UPDATE

hey guys! so we’re finally updating the directory, we know it’s been forever! I (skinnygirlsonly/improvisinglove) am actually joining insertclichedurlhere in running the blog because she’s been too busy to do it herself :( there are well over 300 submissions waiting to be accepted, so please be patient with us! We hope to get all of the pending ones done by this time next week :) thanks & don’t forget to spread the word!

oh, and please remember to submit your height and gender! We’ve been getting so many messages just saying “please add me” and it takes a lot longer if we have to go through each blog looking for the height, so please please please remember to add those details! thanks everyonee :)

Q:This is merely a suggestion, but maybe you can set all of the links so that when you click on them, they open in a new window? I think there's a button in settings that allows you to do that. Thank you for making this!

Theme Thursday

This Thursday’s Theme: focusing on the core!

Core is a general term used to define the area below your shoulders all the way to your hips. Torso is another way to signify this area. Most people focus on just the upper abdominal muscles when targeting this area but they need to include the lower abdominal, obliques, and lower back. Here are three of my favorite core exercises.

Name: Russian Twist
What muscles are working: Upper Abdominal, Obliques
How To: Sit on the floor. Bend knees, feet flat on floor. Lean slightly back. Touch hands to either side of your hips. Rotating the trunk while touching either side. Make it hard by adding a medicine ball.

Name: Superman
What muscles are working: Lower Back
How To: Lay flat on your stomach. Arms stretched out over head, and feet pointed to opposite side. Start with both feet and hands on the floor and lift up slowly. This should be done in a controlled and slow manor. Working on strengthening the back. Make it easier by lifting only one hand and leg at a time. If you do it this way, make sure to do the right foot/left hand or left foot/right hand.

Name: Leg Lifts
What muscles are working: Lower Abdominal
How To: Lay on your back. Legs on the ground and arms next to you. From the strength of your abdominal muscles, lift your legs off the floor till your legs are perpendicular to your body (90 degrees) and lower as low as you can without your lower back arching. Lift your legs back up to start.

For this workout, do each exercise for 20 reps. Then repeat if you wish.

Q:Sorry people are being rude, I actually found the height thing good. I have a lot of weight to lose and I like following people who are my height so I know what my body may look like when I get to their size.
